Backlinks Indexer Review

Backlinks Indexer: Should You Be Backing off?

Share:

Backlinks, one area where every website owner seems to be obsessed with. Everybody thinks that backlinks are the most important part of the website ranking along with SEO. There are many free and paid tools that create backlinks for the website and then there are tools like ‘Backlinks Indexer’ to index these backlinks faster.

Google has given almost zero weightage for backlinks in terms of ranking, still this obsession of backlinks doesn’t seem to stop. People are still behind creating the backlinks. In fact, there are many backlinks creation gigs available on fiverr and upworks.

What is Backlinks Indexer?

Assuming there is a fair weightage for the backlinks, just creating backlinks is not enough. They should be seen by google. In other words, they should be indexed on google. If google doesn’t see your backlinks, they are totally useless. In fact, about 75% of your backlinks don’t get indexed automatically on google. That means about 75% backlinks are useless.

This is the problem area Backlinks Indexer (BLI) claims to solve. They claim to index the backlinks that you provide on google quickly on a click of a button. They also claim that this indexing is google safe, which means Google won’t penalize your website for indexing backlinks using BLI.

BLI indexer

They not only index your backlinks but they claim to boost them with their Authority Blogs, Web 2.0 Blogs, Micro Blogs, Social Bookmarking Sites, and RSS Aggregators.

BLI booster

How BLI works?

BI is a web-based application. You simply submit your backlinks one per line and submit. You can also upload TXT, CSV and XML format. I never tried XML submission though.

Depending on your subscription level the count of links that you can submit for indexing is decided. The lowest is 50 links per day. That’s what I had tried.

Then there is BLI booster. You get loyalty booster credits for using BLI indexer every month or you can purchase extra credits. Some backlinks are stubborn and won’t index on google. BLI booster claims to not only indexes the backlink faster but also indexes these stubborn backlinks. This, however, I had not tried as it required extra money.

In short, you can create as many backlinks as possible for you, submit them to BLI and they will quickly get indexed. Their own methods will ping and crawl these links individually and your backlinks will shoot up your ranking.

But………

Support Story

I know I ended my last paragraph with a but. The only problem was how will I know it is effective? In three days, I created and submitted 150 backlinks URLs. However backlink checker was only showing 49 backlinks (which was before using the BLI). So, I contacted their support.

Backlinks Indexer support

They told me that google sometimes takes 13 days to 38 days to index URLs. Dang!!! Perhaps Google does that normally too right? But I decided to wait for at least 30 days. After all, they had 30 days money-back guarantee. I kept submitting the backlinks for indexing every day, however, I could not see the increase in the backlinks count. It should have at least gone up by 1 right? So I asked again why is the count not increasing?

Backlinks Indexer support

Now they told me that they not only index the backlinks but for each backlink, they build 13-18 more backlinks. Wow!!, that means if I submit 10 backlinks, I get at least 13 additional backlinks. But wait, they also told me that they block the external backlink checkers like ahref, majestic, Moz, etc from seeing these backlinks in order to keep their network safe. This was not told earlier and it is not mentioned on their landing page either.

Meh!!! That means you are telling me that

  1. BLI indexes backlinks
  2. BLI adds 13 to 18 extra backlinks

BUT….. I have to take BLI’s word for that and I can’t check that externally?

OK fine. I still waited for 25 days. In these 25 days following things happened

  1. I kept submitting backlinks to BLI
  2. They indexed those backlinks (nothing was pending in their dashboard)
  3. Perhaps they also created backlinks
  4. I did not see the backlink count going up (as the external checkers were blocked)
  5. I did not see any changes to my site’s ranking that they claimed. It was neither ranked nor had any visitors from backlinks.

I decided to ask for a return before 30 days.

Easy Returns?

And I asked for returning the money. I thought it will go smoothly. This is what they had to say.

Backlinks Indexer support

They were not ready to return the money. This is what their claim said about the money.

Money Back Gurantee

They did not respond to my subsequent emails. Luckily I had paid using PayPal and I raised a conflict. Finally, I received the money back but for sure BLI managed to piss me off for a month.

As a pro tip, always use PayPal wherever possible to make the payment and keep the screenshots of money guarantee page handy till you are satisfied with the product that you purchase.

Good Claims About Backlinks Indexer

I would say none, but you will find many good reviews claiming the following things

  1. BLI indexes the backlinks
  2. BLI boosts the tougher backlinks
  3. BLI creates additional backlinks
  4. BLI crawls each backlink individually

Bad Things About Backlinks Indexer

  1. You cannot verify any of the above good claims externally You have to take their word for it.
  2. The support is slow.
  3. The refund process is a pain in the backside.

Backlinks Indexer: Final Words

  • Name: Backlinks Indexer
  • Does What It Says?: 3 Out of 10
  • Ease Of Use: 9 out of 10.
  • Affiliate Program Exists?: Yes (hence beware of people boasting this)
  • Support: 4 out of 10
  • Ease of Refund: 0 out of 10
  • Price: Starts from $17/month
  • Overall rating: 4 out of 10 (I was feeling generous today)
  • Recommended: No

Frankly, the only reason I don’t recommend it is the inability to check the indexed backlinks. Perhaps it is doing what it is saying, perhaps your website might be getting ranked from the indexed backlinks by BI but until I can see what is happening tangibly I can never recommend something. I did not see any changes to my ranking either. You are free to try this, however, creating backlinks is anyway not required anymore.

If you have been using this and got different results then please let me know in the comments.

Backlinks don’t play a significant role in building the authority of the website anymore. In fact, they may damage your ranking if google finds out that backlinks were built using illegal ways. There are many successful people who haven’t built a single backlink on their own and they are successful. My #1 recommendation to earn money has a lot of them. Check it out below.

    • True, sometimes it is good not to know things 🙂 However, backlinks are still not obsolete. Even if Google doesn’t give any weightage to it, it is still better to have backlinks and get traffic from other websites. There is no need to sweat over it as we all did from 2010 🙂

  1. Being the total non-techie I am backlinks have always baffled me, still, I’m not overly sure what they are, I know what I THINK they are but not sure at all. There are times when I am writing I will add a page link so my readers can go and check out something I want them to see, is that a backlink? In any case, I don’t try and use that for ranking so I guess it doesn’t really matter. I did find your content very interesting and informative. Thank you much!

    • Yes Susan, Your understanding is partially correct. When you add a link for your readers to check out, that becomes a backlink for the other domain but not for your domain. If someone refers to your website in their website, then it becomes a backlink for you.
      Thank you for stopping by.

    • Hi
If you are linking the posts or pages within your website then it is not considered as backlink. Backlink is always between two or more websites. Thank you for stopping by.

  2. What an absolute wonderful review… Blunt and honest

You don’t say it’s a scam … but you show it could well be.

I actually had a face-to-face argument with my cousin a few days ago about the value of backlinks , even apparent trusted ones like those from Trust Pilot. His site was linking to his companies Trust Pilot page

If google doesn’t like external links from you .. then was it worth him promoting his trusted back link page.

We agreed to differ on the value of such links, but in truth neither of us knows the actual answer because these things are kept secret

    • Ha ha. Sometimes it is best to agree to disagree 🙂 True, these things are kept secret. I am not saying that the backlinks are worthless. They may be worthless for ranking but still it is always good to get traffic from other websites. Thank you for stopping by 🙂
